I actually didn’t intend to buy so much pink, but that’s what the Salvation Army had. The MOUNTAIN of clothes shown above cost me around $23.

Not surprisingly, Matt has forbidden me from buying any more baby clothes. The stack above joins two more exactly like it. πŸ™‚

  2. Little itty bitty duckfeet!

  3. CameliaSinensis Says:

I like that little teddy bear on the pocket!

  4. CameliaSinensis Says:

Lawrence has a blue FROGFEET pajamas.

  5. Awwwwww! Frogfeet are just as cute!

  6. Toya Says:

Sarai had the very same ducky sleeper. Love it!

  7. Phil Says:

“I love Daddy”…that’s a bit presumptuous, isn’t it? I mean, we don’t really know yet, do we?

  8. Phil! Behave. Loving the ducky feets.

Good deal considering MKD just bought a little dress for $18 (she couldn’t resist). But we are lacking in the girl clothes department so our girl will likely have more new things than our boy πŸ™‚

  10. Toya: Isn’t it funny how the same baby things pop up over and over again? I bought a green sleeper with a dragon applique on it for Biskit a few months ago — and then found out my sister had gotten the SAME one as a gift – twice!! And I’ve seen it about three times in second hand stores since then. πŸ™‚

    Phil: Shaddap.

    Cube: Word.

AP: I think baby boy clothes are way cuter than girl clothes. There’s just so much freaking PINK for girls! Surrsly, though, check out the second hand and thrift places. I’ve found a bunch of clothes that still had original tags on them, for a fraction of the retail price.

I highly highly highly recommend doing a quick reconnaisance and purchasing a few onesies that have “mitten cuffs”. The baby’s finger nails are razor sharp when she’s born and it’ll prevent you from having to file her nails for a week or so (you can’t actually clip her nails for several weeks). Also prevents fingers from getting in the way of her mouth during breastfeeding. The little separate mittens just don’t stay on (neither do little itty bitty socks – as cute as they are, the built-in feet option on your sleepers is a much better option – good call).

  12. Phil Says:

Ok, Ok. I’ll grant you she probably will love Daddy. The percentage is probably like 99.7%.

  13. Matt Says:

Don’t underestimate my capacity for being objectionable.

  14. Jessica – Thanks for the tips! I’ll definitely keep an eye out for sleepers with mittens.

Matt: Whatever, dude. You are SO freaking toast. She’s gonna have you wrapped around her pinkie!
